Unextractable, so reconstructed from jasmine and tuberose materials plus lactones. Like lily of the valley, the note has only ever existed as an interpretation.

Creamy and white with a green, faintly mushroomy edge that keeps it from being simply sweet. That mushroomy streak is what separates a convincing gardenia from a generic white floral.
